Artfully Bagged was born from an artistic heart. Inspired by bold colours and distinctive patterns my artisan bags are all original pieces. The process I use, is to contrast a single colour with designer patterns so that each piece shines on its own.
As a child growing up in London England I found the alchemy of mixing & matching colours to be my own form of magic. As a young adult I came to Canada to study, later becoming a Canadian citizen. Whilst spending much of my life in the advertising business, artistry has always been my passion. I studied colour design at OCAD & George Brown. My main medium at George Brown was enamelling on copper. The bags, like clothes show our personality. I started thinking about the "art of the bag" and how we can carry our art with us. This led to the birth of artfully bagged. Each piece is unique and made by hand for you, by me.
